BOISE, Idaho — Idaho Business for Education (IBE) is launching an effort to get computers and internet connections to Idaho students. It is called the community activation project and it has two goals.

The first is to get devices into the hands of students who do not have them and to provide connectivity to those students who cannot access the internet at home.

“We’ve heard from some school districts and we’re already working with them, that they don’t have a device problem, but they have a connectivity problem,” said Rod Gramer, President/CEO for Idaho Business for Education. “Others have a device problem and not so much a connectivity problem, but many have both.”
